Sold an old BMW on ebay for my colleague at work. He paypals me a £30 deposit and says he will pick it up at the weekend.. weekend comes and goes.. I email he then says wednesday.. wednesday comes and goes.. email and again and he says sunday.. yet again hear nothing..

Then get a email form his wife claiming her husband can't buy the car as he is in Hospital with Meningitis ... but at the end of the email says obviously if you want to keep the deposit but we'll leave that to your conscious.. My colleague reconed it was bollocks so asked me not to reply (that may sound harsh but in our line of buisness we hear excuses like that every other day)

Two days later I get a paypal charge back claiming the history on car was dodgy after they did a check and decided they weren't going to buy it..

FFS man grow some balls! don't dick me about.. tell me changed your mind don't get your Wife to email me with some death bed story Lieing really rubs me up the wrong way


Anyway we relisted and sold it for £85 more so every cloud and all that


Funny enough I was telling a mate of mine that runs a small car tuning company and he was saying the about of cancelled orders he gets when the cars have been written off or stolen.. only to see them driving around later that day
