Knowing how tight you are, you probably still are going to make yourself one over winter

Well if he makes it out of a cheap alloy block, he'll be in trouble - the material alone is nearly £60 to get the required "strength" . Obviously it's not for everyone, but also has the added benefit of increasing the oil capacity by a small amount as well .

I'll have prices for everything later today / tomorrow.

Added bonus then besides the extra strength/toughness/stiffeness is that if it ever scrapes the ground it will spark like a mofo

Hard to tell by the pic but is the Y-piece smaller than the OEM item or is it just the color that differ?

The aircraft spec alloy is called Alumec and is made in Sweden and allegedly is the strongest you can buy .

Just a quick question about the shims for RWD Cossies Mike.

Do they help a lot with tyre wear and traction ?

How hard are they to fit and do you get fitting instructions ?

Thanks

Steve.

1. Yes they do, they reduce the wear by around 50% (the remainder is caused by the excessive camber under squat and the only cure for that is a fully adjustable rear beam). Traction is also improved, as is handling - the car is more stable and easier to slide (but feels very different to normal, so takes getting used to).

2. Providing everything is not siexed, should take no more than 30 minutes a side, and yes it does come with full instructions .

Prices now added to the items .
