i have fitted a s2 rst engine into a mk4 cab, and the engine doesnt turn over. the battery and oil lights come on in the clocks, but it doesnt start...

i have swapped the whole loom...

battery is charged, even used a booster pack

what main earths are they? what else could it be?

 

check the main earth that goes to battery and gearbox also goes to inner wing but has a smaller wire off this

if the engine doesnt turn over could be a dodgy starter motor

 

make sure there are no breaks in the wires for the starter motorv

now i have no power to the fuel pump...

 

check the relay for the pump

pink one under driver side dash

 

the relay was fine before the loom was taken out
