Sadly they can get you from a bloody long way off.I believe they have 14 days to send a ticket from a mobile cash machine and 3 months from a fixed one (gatso,truvelo).They may have been facing the wrong way if your lucky?hope so mate.if not,after your ban you can always buy a jammer?

mate think its 1/4 mile away. i cained about 90ish thru one on a bend on the a14/a11 section before the bp garage. i was so pissed off that i came off the next junction to go back and come back on to check out the van again at 70 this time 
at from the time you could see him round the bend it was only approx 1/4m
this was few months back so touchwood i aint heard anything yet!!
let us know if you hear anything
also i think the laser gun pointers can get you bit further i think

Escort vans near us with tripod get you from about 100 yards, either way front or back. I should know! When I checked the photo evidence of me it was about 100 yards away.

It can do more than 120, and the Boys at Power Engineering said i should be very proud of her as she was a fine little example. I realise that speedo's do +/- 10%, but im not flowering it up like all the other little saxo type monkeys.

Ive had her upto 135 (yes, probably downhill with the wind behind me!), so -10% off that, your still moving faster than your average
Just got the letter through - 87mph. Not sure how much the penalty is on that but at least it aint more than 96mph (court appearence and ban!)
should be 3 points and Ł60 fine.

No, you need to tell them the driver details first, then they send u a notification of intention to do you over. That says how much.

Id get onto peepipoo then and get a letter written to the scuffers from one of their templates.I know of a few people its worked for?

ive got of doing the following. like i say it worked for me few times but i dunno if you will be as lucky just incase things differ or rules have changed
when ya get the 1st letter ignore it and wait for the 2nd letter to turn up. when the 2nd letter turns up wait till the last day and fone them up to say u have been away (dont say where just u have been away) and ask for the pics cause u dont know who was driving that day. the pics sometimes take awhile which is great
again dont reply to the 1st letter and pics. own up to the reminder on the very last day (u might have to send ya licence off) or they then ask you to send your licence on the next letter again do that on the reminder ...hopefully if it has done like mine in the past have it should drag out over 6months where they cant do you and u get ya money back and licence lol
