For the record I own loads of Tiesto's work on vinyl, including some very rare white label remixes, including:
Radiohead - Street Spirit
Madonna - Die Another Day
Skin (former Skunk Anansia singer) - Faithfullness
All 3 are regularly played by myself, especially the latter, if anyone wants them, or any I have, let me know and I'll sort something out tonight

I've got a few Eddie sets on my PC, including one where he remixes Tiesto's Adagio for Strings live, awesome stuff

I think there's a lot of DJ's out there who fall under that category. Someone who's not that good at mixing, but plays the right tracks or has the reputation (cough *fatboy slim*).
I like to do both. Play awesome well known tracks, but getting the technical side is more important to me. It's alright playing good tunes, but if the mix is crap then I get annoyed with myself.
