the other question is how do you propose to lay 420bhp down on the road without just spinning its tits off
may aswell have less power unless your building a car thats all about top speed,,,,, and if your doing that then why not make the think 4wd
think people love chasing numbers,,,, but ive noticed loads of the big power boys build em and move on,,,,, very few stay ive noticed

cts stage two plus bc box this is what sunny was using and i'm currently running, but box has to come off at lease once a year for new bearings seals and gaskets especially at that sort of power only problems i've had with my box is a cracked casing and worn 1st gear hub . best fwd box to go for would be a mtx75 even in standard form these boxes are strong. have bernie work his magic to make it even stronger.

Quaife do an FWD box that you put the bell housing for your engine in. Straight cut, prolly sequential, the price is about 8k mind

Quaife do a kit, but they only rate it to around 200bhp.
Remember Quaife do stuff for race cars and how many people race 420bhp RST's??!!
Also, expect a top speed of around 125mph!

Why would you want 420BHP in a front wheel drive RST is the question you should be asking

I'd suggest asking Ian Howell or someone similar who has experience with them (Sunny etc.)

The competition scene are taking a look at the 6 speed golf boxes, shouldnt be too much hassle to make one fit either
125 is fast enough Christian, thats already 55mph over our national speed limit
