Engine Conversion...
I have been asked to change an engine fom a 1.3 mk3 fez into a 1.1 mk3 fez. Not a hard job but how much you reckon i should charge? Its not really gonna be mates rates. Cheers

well, if i was fitting one for someone that didnt buy the engine off me, i would prolly want £250-300
took me 12hours dead pretty much - started at 9am and finished at 9pm
but the car was a shower of shit, lots of fucking about with rusted bolts, had to give him my manifold as all his manifold nuts were rusted, the tri bearing on the drive shaft litterally fell apart - but i didnt have one of those so he had to drive home the 120 miles with it vibrating like a cunt
