select HTTP, Hotmail, and server name of http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp

That should do it, but i havent got a hotmail.co.uk address to test with, only a com

give it a go though, only thing that could affect it is if the co.uk addresses use different servers.

* Make sure you have an MSN Hotmail Plus subscription for the Hotmail account you want to access offline.
* Select Tools | Accounts... from the menu in Outlook Express.
* Click Add and select Mail....
* Enter your name.
* Click Next.
* Enter your Hotmail address ("hmmzl34@hotmail.co.uk", for example).
* Click Next again.
* Make sure HTTP is selected under My incoming mail server is a __ server.
* Now, select Hotmail under My HTTP mail service provider is __.
* Click Next.
* Enter your Hotmail address ("hmmzl34@hotmail.co.uk", for example) under Account name:
* Type your Hotmail password under Password.
* Click Next.
* Click Finish.
* Click Close to close the Outlook Express accounts window.
* Now, select Yes to download the Hotmail folders list in Outlook Express.

You must now have the hotmail plus subscription to do this now, I believe

You have to forward the hotmail to a push email service such as
http://www.consilient.com/push/consumer/

Its still not perfect either and has limited attachment support.
Push email only really works well on a Blackberry

I have my hotmail.co.uk account running through OE6 using the Outlook Connector from the MS website. Takes a bit to setup but I didn't need to pay anything or redirect to get it done.

outlook does support pop3 yes, but it's a proper full on MAPI client, so is best used with exchange
