I use 75/90 Morris Oil - Full syth, pay about Ł5 a litre IIRC.

Came highly recommended from the gent who built my big tooth gearbox. Same stuff is also in my diffs on his recommendation - and I can confirm they (unlike my engine!) all work very well!

the 75/90 seems to make the gearboxes quieter to cos they are always fairly noisey.

I got mine from a place called Gearchange - out in the sticks near me in Somerset.

If you want I could get some and post it up to you when I'm next in the area... but I expect a fair few gearbox reconditioning places would stock it! It's blue bottles and they do a massive range for all different car and bike diffs and boxes.

When I was first told about it I thought the guy had said use "Morrisons" oil. Supermarket oil?

Pretty damn sure it's Morris oil...

Sniff about town I do that on Fri and Sat nights...

Seriously, will be no probs for me - I go past the place once a week, and can post oil fairly cheaply - done it enough times with Mobil 1 via Ebay.

Just let me know.
