Default powercommanders

used a lot in the biking world to 'tune' fuel injected models, but why not apply them to cars? i think a lot of jap cars use similar things from apexi etc?

these modify the signals to the injectors or ignition in order to smooth out standard emmisions friendly maps, or to take account of filter and exhaust changes etc.

quite advanced little things eally. can even do individual cylinder injector trimming. no good for a boosted engine, but could be alright on a n/a conversion to throttle bodies for example

Dya know I was just wondering this yesterday!!

Comparatively low resolution I think.

The fuel map on my R1 certainly didn't seem very big compared to the car ones I've seen posted on here.

They work well enough though

gurnE i haven't totally researched them, but they say that they have a map value every 250 rpm on the latest versions vs every 10% throttle opening by the looks of it. but no reference to MAP, presumably as they're individual throttle bodies.

Sunil_FiestaRS1800 don't know about the unichip things, never heard of them. what do you mean by stuck?

I mean the std ecu will be set to never allow an injector to be open over x amount no matter what . so you cant fool it into fueling more than the max value it is set to . Thats how i understand it anyway.
