Default copper headgaskets

Was having a look on ebay and saw someones selling copper ones on there now which are supposed 2 be better than group A and all the metal ones........

Whats the thought on them?! if i have to change mine and their better then would deff consider getting one but thought i'd see what ppl think about them, so cheers for any thoughts!!

I must say that I have heard very good things about them a guy I now runs one and he runs big big power and gives good reporting

I've heard bad things about them - your best bet would be to ask your tuner his opinion

Dont have a specific tuner at mo, and most will reccomend different things tbh just wanted 2 see if anyone had dealings with them!!

EG godfreys told me 2 use a raceline gasket as they have had failures with cometic where as harvey told me 2 use a genuine WRC one as he's had probs with raceline ones!!! diff answer from everywhere

Thing is different tuners say different things because they go with what they know works.

Personally I love copper head gaskets; Like all gaskets, if they are installed correctly they work wonderfully + have lots of benefits over conventional gaskets.
