Any one been to Tokyo?
As per the question really, anyone been to Tokyo and how much did it roughly cost them?
Me and a mate are looking to go to the Tokyo auto salon in 2008 and have looked at around £2k each for a weeks stay in a 3 star hotel, flights and spending money.
Am I way off the mark or in the right ball park?

I went last year with Sean and Renton to the Auto salon. To be honest... I didn't think that much of it!
It is pretty expensive... I went mad in a bar and did over a grand
You could do it for £2k I think.

been twice 
not to auto salon though. why go all that way with all of the different things to see, just to go to a car show? for a day or 2 maybe, but then spend the rest of the week doing other stuff.
£2k will cover it. there are reasonably priced hotels and meals available if you know where to look. i was on company expenses, so didn't need to bother
