Default Quick MOT question........

Ive noticed a 1 inch crack in the bottom corner of my windscreen on the van.

Will this fail the mot?

Only if its in the drivers view it will fail,if not you should be ok

used to have a pic on my pc of the fail area on a windscreen. can't find it.

sounds like you'll be ok, as long as it doesn't start creeping across the rest of the screen.

Well its not really in drivers view and not within the area the wipers clean so i should be ok then.

10mm within 280mm of drivers view and 40mm anywhere else

centre of steering wheel and 140mm either way 10mm is allowed anywhere else is 40mm but then sometimes it depends whos testing it and how picky they are

Heard a massive bang on the motorway but all seemed ok. Noticed it this morning.

Oh well, new windscreen time. Dont think my insurance covers it either.
