Favourite Hot Hatch I owned has to be the Pug 205 1.9 GTi.
Always wanted a go in a Lotus Sunbeam but never did. Anyone got any comments on these??

Best for driving has to be the 205GTi or its modern but slightly less edgy eqivalent, the Clio 182.

Best looking hatch has to be the Clio V6 without a doubt even if it is slower than its baby brothers on a track.

The early and late ones had heads cast by Cosworth. The ones in between were cast by Vauxhall.

Mk1 Golf Gti, Fiesta RS turbo, Pug 205 Gti, Renny 5 turbo.

Define "best".

I thought it was asking for your "favourite" hot hatch though ...not best which to a large extent is very subjective.

Maybe I'm biased but this is a Ford forum silly billies
Its gotta be either the S1 or/and Escort Cosworth.
I was just a baby when the S1 came out so wouldnt know anything back then but the fact it still looks so fresh today imagine what it looked like some 22 years ago! Amazing must have been an understatement!

Sound great as well, even on a std exhaust. Undertyred as std though. The Opel version had bigger wheels/tyres as an option
