Default Push button engine start

any
one got one of these or has fitted one, i have bought one for my escort track car but it didnt come with any instructions (bloddy ebay )

any help will be appreciated

I got one in my FRS, the instructions in the manual says to turn the ignition key to positionIII and then press the button, the engine should then start

Post some pics of what you have, or tell us what wiring colours you have and we can go from there.....

ur need one wire to go to the starter motor and one to the ignition

but imo there wank and ur car can be nicked very easy by the push button

Although I think they are shit, it doesn't really make the car any easier to steal. They still need the key in the ignition to be turned to 2nd click, just like you normally would. The push-button is merely replacing the third momentary position of the ignition barrel.
