Cool but don't work mate i,ve done to musch on vinyl the other week it is a dear habbit,
i wanna concentrate on building a studio now so look's like i will have toi something with a timeline so more than liking either cubase or the proppelerheads bit of kit plus a korg keyboard sampler a syth and graph then i am away lol.
Goit a friend who is going to do me some live dnb beats on his drums so i can use percussion instead of a drum machine this will give it a more refined feel to it.

As for Black Market, hmmmm maybe 10 years ago, but all that place is now is the #1 tourist attraction for dnb djs that have never been to London before

If you want to pigeon hole this kind of music, then you'll always end up with people referring to hardcore as 96 happy stuff, which is why I think it's worth making the differentiation......... The Happy stuff though..... I own far too much! Dave... not a word!
Droptop - I think the fact that you're referring to it as "turntablism" or whatever, and talking about DJing skills, when you haven't been out your bedroom is why people are taking the piss.
I know Dave had a semi-residency at Fabric, and I DJ'd on a pirate in Norwich for three years, and did 1500 capacity venues once a month, and small 500 capacity every fortnight........ Martyn also clearly knows his stuff.
As for what "big raves" we've all done........ er, quite a few!

I did my term at Milwaukees (Equinox) every Friday for about 4 years along side all the biggest names you care to mention, aswell as tons of other venues/events around my area including dozens and dozens of illegal parties in dodgy fields/forrests/quaries/misile silos (dont ask lol)
As Mr PON says, there are people on here with ALOT of knowledge/experience, so without wanting to sound like a cock, we DO know what we are on about!

the biggest mistake to make at this stage is to have the headphones too loud. always set the volume in the headphones quieter than the monitors so that it doesn't drown out the tune you're mixing into. the quieter the headphones the closer the beatmatch.

beatmatching
if you can mix, you can mix
simple as.. job done
you could mix dnb with bob the builder.........
if you had a pitch scale the length of southend sea front... (which is somewhere you know well.. just based on observation)
