Default hey guys need help i broke my cossie help help

guys i have a 4X4 rs cosworth in smokestone blue on friday i was going home from a friends house and as i was coming out of a giveway the car from the rear went bang (i did not launch it jus went normally) my pops cheacked the car the clucth gear box diffs and drivetrain are fine we think its the cv joint, universal joint or i think its called the proppeler shaft has broken any ideas on wht else it could be or where i can get parts from please let me know guys as im prper depressed as i want my baby back to normal thnks for reading any help please let me know thnks guys

my 4x4 cossie popped a driveshaft...

and the righteous sean bicknell sent me a joint for it, and iirc it was off a rover.....

get the car up in the air, all 4 wheels
turn each wheel individually to see if it's making an noise
if it turns out to be a driveshaft i've got a few kicking baout

if it turns out to be a prop i might have one of them too (front and rear )

if it's a diff, then you might be struggling as i've only got one and i couldn't "give" that away

let us know the results

hey i found out wut it was fortunatley it wasnt any off the shaft but it turned out to be the transfer box on the gear box should have it fixed fairly soon im so glad its not any thing else or i would have died lol

appartly its a comman fault on the 4x4 any other suggestion would be nice thanks guys

how is it "broken"?
they don't normally "break" they just wear out

be intresting to see what has actually broken inside

Transfer box is no longer serviced by ford, so lets hope it aint that

i dnt think its broken but the fault is definatley there so ill keep u lot updated the more i knw but thnks for the advise
