Default N/A ZVH?

What kind of power would a na 2.0 ZVh produce? On twin carbs?

PS i know fook all about this so any info appreciated

See one today on the rollers and it was kicking out 160 bhp.

Yes it was. The operators said it needed some work on setup.

performance wise id guess so, but id like it to appear std cvh...rather than zetec..

And just seeing the post from xr4x4 I have made an error. This was full zetec 16v on twin carbs.

mine made 175 bhp at the fly wheel
standard 2 litre bottom end
LEAN burn xr2 head piper cam ( standard ports )

i built the engine to be as near as standard as possible so the if/when goes wrong i can get bits fast and get out on the track again
just make sure you use a lean burn xr2 head ( it keeps the compresion up )
and block off the 3 holes at the back of the ztec block as you dont need them and if you take the car on the track it will leak oil out , as i found out
it is a piece of cake to do ,

So let me get this straight, a CVH head will bolt straight onto a 2.0 Zetec block? What other mods do you need? There a site or a link to this?

they torquey as hell with a cvh head. Capacity is eveything when it's NA, so go as big as u can 2.1/2

Only got into the Ford scene to be honest. Sounds interesting, i might go down this route tbh as i was wondering for ideas with the bottom end. Was gonna fit a 1.8CVH. Anyone got MSN so we can have a chat?

cool... what car u drive? Wouldnt bother with the 1.8 imo just go for the 2.0
