Camshaft has snapped.

Looks like the Cam Chain has snapped to me
The picture is named M3EvoBrokenCam1.jpg. Apart from the fact the chain looks intact, I'd say the cam shaft has snapped and the chain is intact!
Sorry guys, should have replied but only just found the thread agian.

Stu was correct :

If I had paid myself the bill was just shy of 8.5k and it actually broke reversing up the drive

Loving the Mercs, my old man was looking at getting a CLS. Don't understand the whole golf thing though, no offence to those who own them but I hate the way they look and drive .

I think the best way to describe the German car v Ford RS is to compare them to women :

German : Wife material - What you want to end up with, good at everything - Looks good when out - Doesn’t attract bad attention - Reliable - Other people will admire but respect etc.

RS : The Friday night slag - Loads of fun - Everyone secretly craves one - Can be embarrassing - Every other tosser has had them at least once or will try pinching them of you ...

BMW Extended warranty

I was advised not to buy an M3 evo without it, that was one good bit of advice

I was without the car for 5 weeks and managed to put 1100 mile on the coupe they gave me - It only had 900 mile on it to start with
