I know this is quite a morbid thread and Lee got badly injured but that was such a well built car, you only have to look at the condition of the car after the incident to know that.
I don't know what really happened because I wasn't on the ford scene back then but Lee & Martin have recovered and the car looked well after a horrific accident.
I've seen the video of the accident but was it true that Lee had taken his belts off to get a camera out of the glovebox? Fair play if that is true because I have no reason to disbelieve it

i remember the picture of Porkie that Renton posted, all bashed up on the floor, pile of bits next to him with a cheque book poking out, shocking pic 
i think it was Pon who quoted it stating 'in the face of death & Lee's still first to get the cheque book out'
kind of wrong but it made me chuckle at the same time.......
