Default Wheel question

Hi Guys,

Probably a rather dumb question, but I know little about this so was wondering if it could be cleared up

I know that if you fit bigger wheels to a car then it knocks the speedo out yes?

I then heard something about if you keep the same rolling radius however, by altering the tyre size or somet it keeps it right?

Just ive been offered some 14" alloys for my Seat Cordoba runabout and anythings gonna look better than the 13" steels currently on it (the tyres of which need replacing soon anyway) so was wondering if anybody could put me right?

Car currently has 175/70 R13 tyres all round if thats any help?

Very confused

Cheers people

JK

go for 185 60 14 as thas almost the same rolling radius

175 70 13=577mm

185 60 14=578mm
