Never trust zee Germans.

Porsche quoted a fairly quick ring time for the Carrera GT. When pressed though they admitted they had just estimated the time as they never did a full fast lap

What makes you think Bavaria is any different to Stuggart?

Wouldn't let it put you off. It's a minor issue in reality and you can drive round it. Let's face it - who the fuck wants a car like this AND wants to short-shift at 50% RPM (with full throttle)? which is when the problem manifests itself. Nah, we all shift AT THE RED LINE

In that case that really sounds a bit too cheap. Put it this way, I struggle to find anything <Ł1000 (nothing dodgy to consider, ok location, 32 when I got it).

Poblem with that one is it's SERIOUSLY modified from original specification. Infact it's even running a supercharger, and has lost the factory induction (which is a bad thing!)
The gearbox is standard though

Lovely car Paul - pretty quick for a std car but they don't half go round corners well!
You can hear them over a Mongoose exhaust on a Sapphire when they're at full chat as well!!

Look forward to seeing it sometime and hearing about your driving reports!

I did Medical cover for BMW UK a while back when they first came out and were being tested, saw 2 CSL's and 2 M6's and a 3.0 1 series be thrashed around Longcross test track all day, When they were finished with them the test drivers wrote there evaluations and the 5 mint cars went straight to be crushed, guy from BMW said as they were test cars they couldn't ever be used again. proper sad, I was writing out indemnity forms, begging him and everything I loved em so much.

Well done, Paul You'll love it. I love mine more now than I did on day#1. It's a 1-owner one too (got it July 2003) and I have no intention of moving on from it, it's fabulous. Longest I ever had a car!!

Cheers guys. Tiff, no NIck Whale were OK, but they were only reallyb interested in selling me one of their cars on the forecourt. I had to travel 200 miles to Westerly BMW in barnstaple yesterday. Well worth it though. The sound is pure sex
