100% wrong, but it totally depends on what you want the car for. 1/4 mile the chargecooler has benefits, track intercooler

chargecooler all the way IF it was big enough, but its not if you talking about the ones you generally get for em.

same as that size intercooler is too small too.

of the stuff available, a big front mounted cooler is best

You live in Iceland, or just drive the RST in winter Pro Alloy or GRS, either that or make a Cossie 4x4 fit.

Chargecooler of you have a big enough 'radiator' for it although alot of pumps you buy are unreliable. Intercooler is lighter, simpler and if you can get the air flow to it jsut as good. Liquid has better conduction properties of course but making one big enough for big boost and making it reliable is another thing.

all depends on what stage of tune you want to goto ..
i ran a charge cooler for a while on the sII at 15psi .. but once the power was upped to 24psi it stood no chance if your looking to run big power you need a big intercooler .. but with that can bring cooling issues due to it blocking off the majority of the radiator ...
but there are ways of sorting that out with a twin fan setup, and thermostat modifications and fit a nice big ally rad

Rubbish, rubbish and rubbish again. As siad above in previous posta a large intercooler is the best. The chargecooler kits that are generally available dont have a large enough rad and the pumps are unreliable. Also the whole chargecooler system is too complicated with more to go wrong.Lastly they weigh more.Regards ,Micky

at 16 psi plus you will have no chance with a chargecooler .. i have been there .. my pace one lasted about 2 months, it was a trial to see if it would handle any power .. and it couldn't .. you get to a point where the water supposedly cooling it is as warm as the air its trying too cool..

i had a grs version 2 with an ally rad and a twin fan setup.. on track at national day 5 years ago running 24 psi i saw a max of 50deg c air charge temps

Have a charge cooler on my Fiesta and a big Pace intercooler on my Escort. The intercooler wins hands down.

Once I've got some more cahs I will be seeing if I can mod a Pace cooler to fit the Fiesta

I'm bored.

Boil a kettle and stick your finger in it, then try blowing it to cool it down. It's called heat soak
