I take it you have you broadband plugged into the usb port on your laptop? If so you buy a crossover network cable and setup internet connection sharing.

just so you all know it seems xbox live has bee nshut down for the day. i thought the yanks had it wrong as it never happened at 8am (our time) like they stated, but lo and behold, 8:05 and its down.
Supposed to be for 24 hours.

the easiest thing to do would be to buy a specific wireless adapter for you xbox so it can connect directly to your wireless router. they are pennies on ebay
