I had one on an x plate, looked ok once I had it colour coded with the mesh grille etc.

Mine had dodgy electrics (windows wound themselves down, alarm failed when it got broken into), the boot lock bit the dust, and the runners on both front seats broke which was quite pricey to fix.

The door cards may be coming away from the bottom of the front doors as they are not held on particularly well.

The engine may sound a bit rattley, its usually nothing to worry about as the engine cover often vibrates.

The OE back boxes rot for fun so listen carefully for blowing, and be careful of wear on the drivers seat. The seam on the bolster loses its leather quickly.

Hope that was some help!

well i got that one and nothings gone wrong in my onwership, i think you have to look at any signs of a crash, these cars are very nippy and pretty tourqy and if some one with very little experiance owned one then it may have been stacked, mines got all the toys and i like it to be honest its a good car - the gti180 must be a hoot oh and they are good on fuel too

get one (get this one )

Er................ let me think about it and I'll get back to you!
To be fair it was good fun to drive and looked quite smart, I obviously got stuck with a lemon!! Don't even get me started on the fiat punto that the 206 replaced!!
