I've just got back from Avon, Shakespear Raceway.
Saw Keith Cowie in his skyhook run 2x 9.0 @ 156mph
, shame he didn't hit the 8's.
And the Lemon 2 skyline running 10.2@144mph.
My Best was 13.69 @ 100.1 mph which is my new PB,
with 60ft of 2.205, and 1/8th of 8.866 @ 81.0 mph
but also run 8 more 13's. with my PB 60ft of 2.197 on a 13.70@99mph run.
i was happy considering lack of power (as done 104mph before), and goodyear F1 tyres.

We finished putting the Zetec in my Anglia at 5:00pm on Saturday, took a little test drive, yep, thats alright.. lets go...
So we got to The Pod at 6:30pm on Saturday night and watched some excellent racing.
Norris Designs ran a 9.6 at 150mph.... was like a missile..
And that MkII Granada with the number plate B3AST was just a proper weapon..
Didnt run the Anglia as its only on a base map..... but once its mapped.
The black MkII RS2000 BMX IIT rang some pretty good times and watching it all at night was excellent.. superb atmosphere..
Was nice to watch one of my customers run his MINT baby blue Anglia too and get a 15.4 when he was driving and a 16.4 when his Dad was driving

The car has done 13's before, but with me being new to it i knew i would not do very good, but think i did well for first time on the strip, just got to practice my launches.
My first run on saturday was 16, i let my nerves get the better of me and i fooked it up, but to come from 16 down to 14.6 made me happy.
I did better than some

What a really good weekend
Took Helens car up on the trailor as l thought that l might need it after ragging Helens car down the strip
But l didnt get to have a go due to having to take this home due to a broken diff so desided not to bust Helen Saph

Its a supercharged 6.3l LS1 V8 ( obviously modified, heads, cam, rods, pistons etc etc ), DTA ecu, T56 gearbox, Ford 8.8" live axle.
Fully trimmed fully functional, road driven car on SUL fuel. 800 mile round trip that weekend, and for the first time in a while, the car performed faultlessly.
Its turning out to be a better package than I ever hoped.
