Oh no..... JAY'S GONE JAP!!
Well, just got in from a day's travelling to get my new wheels
Needs a little bit of paint sorting and steering wheel wobble at 60+ but other than that, I'm pretty chuffed
Only pic I managed to take so far:

My brother had an Import MR2 turbo modded to about 300bhp back in 1997 and it was awesome looking. Very good car, hopefully this is a lot better for you than some of your other ideas.

Nah just a Rev 2 n/a. Next year will be turbo time after my pay rise in May, which incidentally is when my insurance runs until, so it all works out nice. I'll be 25 then too, so if I get fooked in December for the speeding I should still be ok I hope.
It's great though. Just watched the Beemer go. I'm heartbroken!

Just been out up near the airport round the country twisties. Got a big grin on my face. Might not be a turbo but it handles beautifully.
I'm really going to enjoy this car

Finally!
Congratulations mate, but pay attention to this bit, and pay attention well.
These cars have a bit of a reputation for stepping out on ya if you misbehave with them.
They don't tend to let go at low speed either with all that weight over the rear wheels, but at this time of year, when the roads start to get a little greasy, these cars can bite you big time!
If the tyres are average, get em changed for some proper rubber like now, as a mid engined sportscar, with crap tyres, on greasy British roads is an accident waiting to happen in inexperienced hands.
Right, now you've had your warning, drive carefully, and respect the car at all times!

But the best thing is: Mine's from 1991, 90000 miles on the clock and absolutely NO rust at all. Quality!

Aye, no rust on mine. Just some paint to tidy as far as bodywork goes.
I love it. I can feel in the handling though how easy it would be to bin it in the wet, so I will be VERY careful! I'd like to release a few extra ponies though, just to get it up to par with a Rev 1 0-60
It's so nimble though. I love it. As for tyres/wheels I might see if I can get a set of nicer wheels with good tyres on next month. Will watch what I'm doing up to then!

Nice car. I thought the little lights in the grill were a sign of a turbo along with something on the side, possibly vents? The bright yellow ones were all turbos werent they?
