Default cossie brakes-help

just a quick question

got a cossie in which has burst a front brake hose and lost all the fluid.now he drove the car here with no brakes, burst pipe not obvious but obviously got no pedal,so cant just pump it to see which one.

filled reservior up and tried to bleed sytem as ford manual but nothing happening.pump is running but nothing.

any ideas/experiences anyone.could it have fucked up the master cyl/pump by driving it with no fluid as the pump may have been continuously running.

never had this problem before so any help much appreciated.
especially as ive only had 3 hrs sleep!

I THINK that you have to have the rear under load.......With the engine running

problem is i havent found the leak as there is fluid literally everywhere.

the ford manual says bleed the front brakes first by just opening the bleed nipple one turn and hold pedal down, but nothing is happening.

may bleed the rears and see what happens........

i have a spare unit here, may just fit that and see if it cures it,then at least i can find the leak!

im thinking that the pump would have been running continuously whilst he has been driving it which has killed the pump, although it is still buzzing?

Get the fluid cleaned up before it eats into the paint.
