Ill be hopefully be buying a new ford ka shell from DOO, and Danny b will be doing the rest to make it a fast road legal/track car.

will it have to go on a Q plate ??

oh sorry m8 i misdead it lol i thought u was just telling us lol

it will need to go on a Q if the shell isnt registered at all or got vni plates etc

I think there is a way around it so you dont have to use a Q plate. Q plates are usually put on a car that has no ID (i.e. stolen car with the chasis numbers removed). I think you can get a donor chasis number and transfer it legally...........somehow anyway lol. Then again I may be talking out of my arse Give DVLA a call

where are the rest of the parts coming from? If they are all brand new or if they are all from one donor car then you could get away with a age realted or new reg. Why not just use a pre registered shell then you wouldn;t even need an sva test?
