Right, installed the windows based platform, i have to run a USB to serial converter as my laptop dont have a serial port

Every time i try to connect i get the message "ECU COMMUNICATIONS: no reply [2]." Is this due to the USB / serial converter. Tried all the COM chanels, bit rates, buffer sizes and Fifo stuff.

Thanks to all that have helped.

This is only a test version and I did expect some initial problems
as the original windows program worked so well in previous tests
and I was sure if I touched it, it would break.

I am very close to completing this software will be available soon
with ALL new features activated.

And off course it will be FOC to anyone.

If all goes to plan, ecu's will be back on sale soon when all issues and
updates are complete.
These will be sold/marketed by another company that is well known
and respected.

I hope to post up another update very soon as a teaser and I will enable
all the menus for you to try.

Danny,

The data logging will be available very soon.
This will be done in the ecu . - NO PC needed (up to 1 hour limit)
and also, with a PC where the limit is the size of your hard disk.

Launch control is a different matter.
As I dont have a working car at the moment, I cannot test it works correctly.

Therefore, It would not be right for me to release it as if it breaks
someones car then I would never hear the end of it.

However, If you are up for some "own risk" testing in the future....

Will this require any hardware modifications to the ECU for the new function's ie, ALS, data logging?

Will the dash board option have analogue guages for quick glance with user defined danger zones, maybe an audiable alarm

Will the output tests have the ability to fire the coil, injectors etc

Sorry for all the questions

Keep up the good work Simon

Bri.

No mods required for ALS or data logging. Only software upgrade needed
which can be done by yourself.

Dash board has both analog an bargraph style gauges.
No audible alarm but thats a good suggestion.

The output tests will work as they do at the moment. So yes.
