is there anybody in ere that is with orange for their internet (broadband) on pc & having trouble with their connection or logging on to secure web sites?

Does anyone have a contact number for them ?

I'm on Orange Broadband running through 98SE and haven't noticed any particular problems. Have you upgraded your security settings lately? 128-bit at least?

Edited to add : if you're not sure what the settings are, on your Internet Explorer window - click on the <HELP> menu at top, click <ABOUT INTERNET EXPLORER> and it should tell you what cipher strength you've got.

It's certainly worth checking anyway.

What actual problem do you get? Error message? Just fails to load a page?

The usual press 1 for this 2 for that affair but there pretty quick at answering in my experience and they should sort you out better than us trying to explain over a forum
