Default limits of a 205 block

i understand the 200 is superior to the 205 but what is the limit of a 205 bored out 1mm.

my block has cracked but then the car has been running 34 psi,i have been offered a good 205 block locally and cheap so i were gonna fit this and look into building a good 200 block over the winter so i can run 30+psi again.

are they really made from chocolate?could i get away with 25ish psi?

cheers

My 205 block is on 1mm overbore & has been for 2yrs,i run a T34 greens at 1.5 bar or 21psi & have done about 6 full trackdays aswell. Mine was live mapped by Paul Hills 2yrs ago & i have'nt even needed tochange the spark plugs yet ! He advised me at the time not to go to greys & run more boost as the block could crack.

I remember Tony Ryan telling me he used a 205 block in his race car with a T34 with no problems ,Julian Godfrey built i think, he then decided to go for more power and put a T4 on it wound the boost up to over 30 psi & the block split on his 1st outing !

Keep the boost down !
