Unfortunately Deano Mcqueen did hardly any of the driving in Bullitt and even less of the motorbike stunts in The Great Escape!! was a good actor though and wasnt called the king of cool for nowt 
Bud Ekins his best friend did all the m/bike stuff in Great Escape and the majority of driving in Bullit, one of the all time great stunt/film drivers was a guy called Bill Hickman, French connection, bullitt the list goes on and on, he was the daddie 
Tiff the french connection car chase wasnt in Paris

Ronin, and Mad Max 1 opening with the 'Night Rider'
Best crash sequence ever seen though is the pile up towards the begining of FINAL DESTINATION 2. Blood guts the lot - anyone been in a bad accident, really ties your stomach in knots....
