Default The time is nearly here .........

......... To FINALLY get the car mapped by Karl / NMS

What power is everyones guess it will make?
Which is the best rollers to use for a comparable power run?

Anyway, here is the basic spec;

7.1/1CR
2.1ZVH
Farndon Steel Rods
Accralite LC pistons
Wire wrung block
Felpro HG
Stage 3 Big Valve Head with port matched inlet
Kent cam with Piper vernier
FSE Power Boost Valve
Siemens 850cc injectors
3 bar map sensor
dta p8 pro management
-31
Turbotechnics T35 Stage 3 .55 with custom downpipe
GRS cooler
Mongoose exhaust
escos uprated intank fuel pump

From the above spec, is it possible to guess a figure?
Boost will be whatever Karl sets it to
Is there anything I should upgrade before the map?
Will be going to see Karl tomorrow hopefully
Any info greatfully received!!

Roll on next month

Just seen the power boost valve in your spec list

DITCH IT and get a proper fuel regulator for the job.

Felpro head gasket will be the first to let go IMO

ask Oranoco for one example, they seem to go between 2 certain cylinders iirc

Come on Stu, lighten up.

I'm only pulling yer pisser!!

It's gonna piss 300bhp, probably 350bhp IMO.

However, those things ARE a very real concern. I wouldn't use an FSE valve if you paid me and the same goes for Felpro gaskets. It's a fact I'm afraid.

I think your problems other than those mentioned above will be gearbox and traction related. If it makes a real 300+bhp then the car will just wheelspin everywhere. Unless you already have these fitted I would advise:

Proper brake setup
Check all bushes and wheel bearings
Check steering rack
Check shell strength
Check Suspension setup, Konis will not be fine for this application.
Proper TCA setup.

As christian said i was pullin ya pisser but i have had a zvh and the felpro lasted 3 weeks lol,as for the fse dont need to say owt there its been said other than that it should make good power but the gasket will be the first thing 2 go use a focus gasket much better.

I was running with a simular head and engine spec also a Felpro head Gaskit on my 1.9CVH and it held 28psi with CR of 8.0:1 it gave 320BHP.

I now have a ZVH 2.0 with the same(new) Felpro head gaskit however and it turned all the fire rings into 50p shaped rings and blew out between 2 and 3, but I was running 8.8:1 CR and 32psi!
