Default Rust & Winter

I have a little rust starting to show through on my front arches (not bad though)

the plan was to get them in to get treated ASAP

however, with winter coming up im tempted to wait

theres usually always some scratches/small bumps etc appear over the winter months

so my question is, will i be better waiting until after winter so its all ready for next summer or should i get the rust treated straight away ?
