Anyone done it before on Orange?

Whats involved and how long does it take...

Out of contract btw....

30 days...just done mine

cancelled my contract with em after 7 years as they priced mr out of an upgrade...

plenty of good new phone deals out there!!!

yeah thats what i did but then done a deal (nokia n73 £35 a month) to

stay with them after i told them i got a new contract with 3

i dont know whether to end this contract and start a fresh one...

or keep this one and change the handset and talk plan, not sure if both is possible at the same time.

both are possible but make sure you get talkplan sorted before you get the phone or they've got you by the short and curlies be careful they don't get you on an 18 month contract as well cos the handsets only have a 12 month manufacturer's warrenty. If you do end your contract ask for a pac code so you can take your number to another network

And also if your in a newish contract you need to pay for the remaining months line rental before you can end it. I.E if youve got 6 months left @ £30 a month then thats £180 straight away before they start asking for admin fees etc.Sometimes just worth stickin it to the end then tellin em to fook off.Unless youve went over your 12/18 month contract then all you need to do is notify them in writing normally and 30 days later ure clear to do what you want
