Right im stuck in cambridge as a feckin water hose decided to split on me as i was parking up last night

anyway its the tiny s shaped one that goes between the rear of the inlet manifold and the oil filter housing(xr3i mfi btw).

Is there anyway to bodge fix it to get back to colchester? I can survive without the heaters if theres anyway to use those pipes?

any help would be muchos appreciated

 

Right managed to find an online haynes. If i rip out the to and fro pipes from the oil filter housing and bodge connect them will this make the oil heat up too much or will it be ok? gonna be on the road an hour-2hours but on the motorway so plenty of airflow?

 

you can get hose repair tape from halfords that will bodge this, about £3 i've used it before and its very good !!
