As requested heres my current spec ...........


2.7Ghz Celeron
512 mb Ram
N Vidia Geforce FX5200 64MB
and thats about it methinks

Help
Need to upgrade for better online gaming btw Cheers

How much you got to spend? and are you AGP or PCI-E?

Thats not a very good spec for gaming mate ive gotta be honest

And you say you can currantly play battlefield online with that?

If so and your happy with performance and you just want to upgrade it id say the graphics cards is a must and should be your first upgrade, second on the list would be RAM, get at least another 512MB

Apart from that it would be processor upgrade which is alot more cash

Putting a new GPU in there with that celeron is pointless as the CPU would just bottleneck the new GPU.

my cousin has just spent neigh on 500 quid on a new graphics card, and he has dual processors

ive yet to pop round to have a look, as 3d games going back 3 or 4 years were like walking thru ya house

opteron 145 3.0ghz
2x 1024 g.skill ram
2x74 gig 10,000rpm HD

wich i rate as the best monitor about for gaming cant beat playing games in 200hertz

LUXURY! When I were a lad........

I'm still getting by on an old P3 933mhz. Can't play any games nowadays. Hopefully upgrading after Christmas.

yep im agp btw
battlefield runs poorly and cs runs at about 27.5fps

heres a couple of screenshots of what im looking at





dont wanna spend much more than £500/£600 if i can help it

gameplay on bf2 is very jerky and all settings are on low and screen resolution is on 800x600
cs runs fine but most of the settings are on low but will run on 1024x768

i have ghost recon on the 360 its really impressive on normal tv let alone on hdtv

The second set of pics are Gears of War out on November 17th and they are in game footage. You can see the targeting hud on the pics. Also check out rainbow six vegas.
