D Reg 1.6 Diesel Mk2 Fiesta ! ..... only did 86 flat out down hill 
But did 400 miles to Ł18, well at the time
Ironic thing is, 13yrs down the line, i am driving a D Reg Mk2 Fezzy to work and back every day now !!..

my first ford was actually my first car when i was 17 (back in 2001)
1.1 sx fiesta, was the mintest one i have owned out of 6 fiestas!!
wrote it off two months later handbraking with 4 bald tyres in the rain into a massive iron gate

I had a 1.6 GL A plated Onion in dark blue.
I painted the shonky old faded badges purple and had purple pin-stripes over the rear lights. I bought a JVC headunit/changer package and fitted a set of old house stereo speakers into the boot (I didn't have any decent car speakers at the time) and used to pull the back seat centres down for 'full effect'. They actually sounded really good with the seats down. I fitted a low sierra spoiler onto the boot (which looked quite cool) and fitted a set of Escort RST full suspension to it when my friend uprated his RS gear. After that it handled excellent & even surprised an MR2 on the backroads one night. I do have pics of it at which I will have to scan sometime....
Sold that the following year as I bought the S2 RS my friend had...and the onion went to another lad at work & lived on

My 1st was a magenta 1989 1.3 Bonus, Was infact my 1st car... Was great, Cut down Springs, Cherry Bomb Exhaust and Xr3 Clover leaf alloys

Wahay!! I've lost my Virginity!!
Mine was a Fiesta Supersport. Sold it to me mate and it got knicked.

no head rests, no stereo, only 1 wing mirror, leaking boot. But bloody fantastic and quick.
The amount of piss i had ripped out of me by my mates with 1.6 engines... soon wiped the smile by kicking their asses off the line lol.
any1 know how to find out what happened to old cars?

A reg Xr3i rep...good one too. Had the mintiest dash in EVER too from a Rs1600i....and i think it went thru the crusher

L reg mk1 capri 2000gt,facelift model with a 3 litre fitted first ever car at 19 only 300 quid a year for insurance ,then a mk3 capri 2 litre sport,mk2 4 door with pinto 2 litre,mk1 xr2,mk2 xr2,mk1 fiesta sport with rst motor,xr3i mk4,xr3i mk3,mk1 escort 2 litre,rs1600i ended up turbo'd,mk4 xr3i turbo was featured in performance ford but got her for a song lol,mk4 rs turbo,now turbo'b mk4 cabriolet money pit probably missed a few but probably not worth a mention

1st car was a white manta gte, with a full irmsher kit when I was 17 
- had that a few months, failed its MOT in real style, so took it back to the garage I bought it from, got my cash back (as they should have never sold it in the state it was in underneath!) then got a Fiat Uno Turbo , more rust than car and 3 different styles of wheels on it, but very very rapid - that died when it came to MOT time, so I traded it against a mk2 astra GTE 16v that had been tuned nicely, 172BHP at the wheels , I was still 18 as well 
kept that a year, then the begginning of the end ....
My 1st ford.... A flint grey 280bhp 2wd cossie, with 17" multispokes, leather etc at the tender age of 19 in the year 2000!! insurance= lots - I still got it, sat in the garage waiting for me to build a 550BHP engine for her , I have another 2wd saff, in moonstone thats 370BHP, had that about a year now, and a few months ago I bought my escort cossie at 25 -
had loads of cars in between times as well ,alfa 75 twin spark (awsome car) xr 4x4, fiesta xr2 diesel (don't ask), renault 19 16v (absolute wank), RS 2000 Mk5, sierra 1.8gl battle bus with 3 kills to its name ( 1x brand new 307 who cut me up crashed into , 1x set of joyriders x5 in stolen cavalier caught by pitts manouvre, ie crashed into , 1x taxi who blocked me in and refused to move crashed into ) and it still drove , finally died after 11 months of abuse of a snapped cambelt 
....ah...cars...
