One on Autotrader with 2 different dealers. One selling for £12,995 and one for £14,995. Same car. R999COS. Anyone know it ? Read on here to stay away from R reg ones but why? Do they differ from ordinary Escos's in any way. Info on them please. cheeRS

Whilst there may be a few late registered Escort Cossies, many R reg' onwards are built up from parts (i.e. not built by Ford).

im stating the obvious here but genuine motorsport cosworths definately bullt by ford, they were built to be converted for rally
they have none of your fancy gubbins(electic windows,no sunroof,disgusting cloth recaro copies etc,etc) only come in diamond white half the value compared to a "REAL"lux escort cosworth ...other R regers are homemade jobbies as billabong stated
