£17,000 RSOC
what sort of price would it sell
in the real world
spec in PF garage

i had a minter in white 26000 miles form new 1 owner totally standard with E500 number plate on it from new rsoc valuation 18k there valuation is way out ,its ok saying its worth it but try selling it for that money ,let mine got for a lot less that the valuation ,and glad to get rid of it

Thats a bloody strong valuation, i see its got 90k on aswell, i wouldn`t pay that................

the valuations are very high for insurance purposes.i sold mine for £2000 less than its valuation last week and mine had a big spec set up 510 bhp.

i found that people will only pay good money for standard cars and rs500 buyers are very fussy.although mine was also cat d listed but i got £12500 for mine.

Well i wouldnt sell mine for less than 1k more than the rsoc valuation

The rsoc valuation means nothing as your car is worth what somone will pay , not what somone valued it at who spent 2 mins looking at it

A true valuation IMO would mean seeing the cars underside ( on a ramp ) and driving the car ,

The registrars cant always do this so value the cars with a quick walk round them and looking at any paperwork

I agree but its good to have the value !!!!!!!
a car that done 90K
no the shell may have but almost everything else is within two year yof being new so wtf i know is it what someone will pay !!!!!

My RS500 sold last year for £20k.

500bhp conversion.

Excellent condition, 25k miles and four (I think) owners.

They do sell for good money when you can find the right customer and have the right car.
