Default So, Brunters, who's been?

Going on the 30th for a trackday, taking both toys.
Just want to know what to expect really, facilities, food/drink, pit set up etc etc.

Cheers.

Was gonna say, most important thing is you can get a good fried breaky in their cafe!

Look out for the two young lads whos old man owns the place. The oldest one is 22 and has a 355 and a noble which he drives with the arse out everywhere. Performance bmw let him drive the new m6 for photos cos he was better at drifting than their editor and he popped a tyre off the rim.

The youngest on is only 19 and was ragging an slk last time i was there.

They are nice chaps though. Proper petrol heads always willing to talk cars and always in knackered clothes covered in oil cos they work on their own stuff.

Cafe is great!

The runway is ok for blasting down but I didn't like it when I did a trackday there. The surface is mega bumpy and skitty under hard cornering which can make it harder to push on the limit. Add to this the fact that trees line the runway so if you do come off it could well hurt!

The havent repaired the surface in YEARS!

You cant use it everyday and expect it to last lol.

But they do

I know one trackday organiser who has dropped them over this issue!

I've been loads for test days but also did a trackday there once. I had VERY low hopes of the trackday to be honest as its just a airfield BUT it was surprisingly good actually! had a really good day

The Latest news is that its days are numbered. Now has noise sensors in the main straight & a Standard EVO 9 triggered it 6 times at a recent test day.

The story I heard was the local council was cracking down on the noise, the owners threatened the council that if they complain about the noise from cars, they will return it to use as an airfield and see how they like the noise then!
