I could say that about other cars that have a section on this forum.

I know that people use the other section for rs2000 just always wondered why there wasnt a specific section for them.

There is a good website for the cars at: www.RS2000-16v.co.uk

They are very underated. Having driven one and been in 3 they are spot on cars and well worthy of the RS badge. They also seem to go damn well on track (Peeps like The Saint and the mighty Marco Polo have shown me how good they can go)

I have a friend selling one at the mo, and the temptation to buy it is hard to resist - could replace my Mi16 Pug with something that goes just as well, but has an RS badge on it

Only prob is I know the previous owners, so I'm staying well away from it!!!

If enough people post their interest on here I'm sure the Admin team on Passionford will consider adding a new sub section for the RS2K

So don't just read this and do nothing - post here if you think there should be a RS2000 section

they are well worthy of the rs badge and the only trouble free rs i have ever had

should get there own section

in standard form they are the most powerfull (non cosworth or focus) rs made and prob the best all round....

Got my support for the room I found myself going over to that other RS2000 site when I wanted info and that shouldn't be happening

But I'd still like to give my opinion on the cars:

They're reliable, everyday RS's and that's why people don't like them. The fact is they're a great everyday, useable car but a boring RS.

You can bang on as much as you want about tuning them, but I went to a lot of meetings and shows in mine and got fed up of the surprised "oh it's an RS?? I thought it was an Si".

I don't have these cars to use everyday and part of the attraction of owning them is driving for fun and having something a little different to the norm.

They're not.

All in my opinion of course.

Yay Ive made some history on passionford. The other rs2000 site I am also a member of. However its annoying that there aint half has many people using that forum. And with there being a section on here us RS2000 drivers or owner in my case have a better chance of finding what we need. No dis respect to other site.
