Anyone used John Noble's in Chesterfield???

I want a full rolling road set up and was going to book it in at John Noble's. I know a few people that have used them, but dont know anyone whose ever taken a cossie there, so wondered if they were pretty familier with them or not.

The Derbyshire rsoc use them for rolling road days.

If i was you i would get a proper setup at NMS which is 5 minutes from Jct28

i went wi a corsa once that was on throttle boddies, they fuked about for ages and then said we cant get it set up right, sumat wrong wi engine,

there was nowt rong with it they jus dint know what they were doing,

aperently since then i heard they are good with new stuff e.g. scoobys/evos's but been told not to take old stuff there as they jus dont wanna know

Mate of mine had his mk3 Astra GSI live mapped there - 2.0 LET engine, throttle bodies, MBE management - ran absolutely fantastic, Dave couldn't fault the service

John Nobles is good Rolling road wise..

but you'd be better off taking it to NMS which is letterally 5 mins up the road from there and a cosworth specialist.

then if you're bothered by things like this- take it down for a power run..

About £40 if memory serves correctly.

oh and as for Nobles, my experience was pretty much the same as above

they messed about for over an hour and a half, then told us it had the wrong dizzy on, come back when you get another (S2 rst) and still charged him for 2 hours work aswell

Jake a power run is £52.88 inc VAT at Nobles, but it's the best place i've been for this

They were really helpful and talked to me about my cars graphs, comparing with a previous run, when i had mine on the rollers in June (after it was set up by NMS )

The rollers are good, mine's been on there loads. But now, apparently they close it all off, and ur not allowed in the same room as your car. Sod that.

Looks like NMS is the place then. All i really want is the fueling checked and set up and the water injection set up properly. I know its hard to say but does anyone have an idea how much ill be looking at roughly?

If the cars ready by then id definetly be up for that mate. Although chances are, it wont be as i might not be able to get the car over till that sat. Thanks for the offer though mate and ill definatly try and make the next one if thats ok.

When my car ran, i watched the whole thing, stood outside the unit which was not closed off
After the run, the technician happily discussed the graph and it's comparitive on the computer, whilst the car was still sat on the rollers

Karl has a set price for each set up but the price is obviously dependant on what else you have done....

Give em a call and speak to Either Ollie, Karl or Mark.. They're all more thank capable of giving advice and booking it in...

But as said.. they are very busy and dont always get to the phone...
