If you go to the bank they'll give you the nice little bags to put £1 worth in each... then take them into said bank and walk out with real money...

Alternatively - go do your weekly shopping then tip the lot over the tills

Saisburys have a coin master.

I think it takes 5% for charity, then prints out a receipt you take to the counter and redeem for cash or shopping.

Easy does it........ and you have done your bit for cancer research or childrens hospital.

Unfortunalty, and i dont know why, hassle i spose, but leagally cashiers are only supposed to accept up to 2 quid in coppers as payment for a purchase,

dunno if anyone can verify why though

Wouldnt that be great paying for your weekly shop in 1's and 2's, it would take the cashier longer to count it than it would for you to do the shopping

As you walk in the shop just say "here count this, ill be back in an hour"
