I haven't followed the predecessor to this thread (and I imagine there is one), but I personally object to speedng in residential area's. That is far less appropriate that elsewhere IMO.

I would be suprised if there is a single motorist on Britains roads who has never sped. In fact, i'd be AMAZED.

i don't think it's relative to ask if you've every broken the speed limit
it would be a more pertinant question to ask if yuo've ever broken teh speed limit in a built up area (30 mph stuff) and the like

in which case, no, i broke the limit this morning because my road is a 20 mph road now and i'm sure i must have been doing at least 21 at 5.45 this morning

I must admit i have slowed down a lot as i have got older .

I do try and stick to the speed limit in built up areas .

Motorway is a bit different, no point in having a fast car and not using it now and then.

Nope, deadly serious. He was late for work and bombing a fuck of great hill as fast as he could go, Got pulled over for doing over 40 in a 30 and told to slow down as he only had a back brake and no helmet etc.

Done that one myself.. although only a split second after the change to red, and in the middle of the night when i was trying to follow a friend.

Infact, i've crept through a red light at 4am when nobody was about and i was sick of waiting

DanS has never broken the speed limit,,,,, ive followed him on a motorway and got bored and so undertook him cause he was doing 70 on M1

my missus has never broken the speed limit either,,, but shes still doing lessons

oh and btw speeding isnt cleaver nor is it a boasting point

we all break the law everyday im sure on one thing or another,,,, theres not a single day when i leave my house theres not some law i break,,,, ive also discovered a fact that the honest way is not only the hardest way but as punishment costs more money than being dodgy

theres 4 times more cctv round here that ONLY does driving offences than there is for actual people saftey ect and also the ones that are for saftey jsut record only,,,, the driving offences are actually manned and monitored when ever the offences are enforcable,,,,,, oh anfd the stop recording when the offences are not enforcable

great fucking world we live in hey
