Some Fooking idiots.................
Tnite was begining of World Firework Championships in Blackpool, Took little un down to see it and was stood on prom when a couple in 50s walk up with a Boxer puppy, Thought wat a tight coont bringing that down but thought hey maybe its ok with loud noises................
Wrong!
1st Bang and it set off like it had been shot, pulled owner flat on his arse and was going skits trying to run, Owner got up and just tried to hold the poor thing still saying calm down before again it put him on his arse Eventually a few of us ushered him off the prom after he just kept trying to stop dog jumping about and told him to try get the poor thing inside.
How can ppl be so stupid!!

Hopefully he just didn't realise the dog would be so scared..most people are more thoughtless with animals around fireworks than anything I guess..they just think the dog/cat will rationalise the noises the same way we do..
Good on you for telling him though

when he realised the dog was startled the last thing he should have done was litterally pin the dog down to stop it going skits imo, and obviously we arnt talking about a catherine wheel or a few little bangers here.

It's a general common sense rule when bonfire night is on to keep the animals in doors with the telly/radio on. . whoever doesnt know that must be from another planet!

Total morons taking a puppy to a fireworks display.
My dog isn't scared of them at all, she runs round the garden barking at them, trying to scare them away but I still wouldn't take her to a firework display.

Poor dog, ive got a Boxer and they are pretty fearless (thick headed) when in any sort of danger. But unexpected bangs will just catch them off guard a little.

Well I've never seen one [bearing in mind I watch very little TV]....somethings that are common sense to some people aren't always common sense to others.
I do know about dogs and fireworks but only because we used to have a dog when I was a kid..........
And there is no need to swear and shout
