what size speakers are in the doors of a MK5??
going to get some replacements scos mine are fooked . im not going to buy adaptor plates and get bigger speakers cos i will probably get bored and sell the car next week 
but what size are the standard speakers that are fitted in the doors pls .......

thats what ive done in the past but i just want to take the shit blown ones out and just put another set the same size back in ?? but wot size are the standards ?

As I said, some obscure non-standard size.. nothing aftermarket is going to drop in to replace them.. the factory speakers are just plain round (as in, without mounting eyelets) and glued into some big cup shaped thing..

right i understand. well looks like im going to have to buy some plates . last set i bought i never fitted and sold for about a fiver on ebay
