I only now saw this.
All the best to Eagle. Get well soon.
I hope we meet here when he comes to visit family and this little thing won't stop him
All the best wishes from me.

Really really pleased to here you are out mate, just make sure you take seriously the advice of the Doctors who are no doubt going to tell you the kebab van by morrisons is NOT a healthy diet.
These things need to be treated as a wakeup call to make some changes to make sure it doesnt happen again.
Hope you can make it up for the next berks meet mate
(so that im not the ugliest cunt there again like this month)

ok ....
im sat here feeling very humbled and in tears at all the comments left ...
still not got over the shock of it yet ...
woke up on wednesday morning feeling like i had a cold, drove down to portsmouth to get the i.o.w ferry, realised by 7:15 summit was wrong .
i could not breathe properlychest felt really tight, also had pins and needles in my left hand and my left fore arm was feeling really tight..
so drove myself accross portsmouth to the Q.A. hospital , parked the van up and walked to A & E
got seen immediatly and wired up , i was treated for a heart attack and i do really beleive it might have been a very mild one,
was stabilised and then taken to the coronry care unit
still finding it hard to breath properly and my chest feels a bit tight a bit light headed...
it was a major shock to me and to be honest it still hasn't really sunk in.. was eventually diagnosed as pericarditis, but i do wonder about it....
i'm not out of the woods yet as i still feel crap i have ben ordered to have at least 2 weeks total rest, will have to see how i feel afetr that.
given me a severe kick though, just realised how precious life really is the look on lisa's and my kids faces when they turned up was so upsetting. it is only really starting to sink in at the moment as to how close it really was or how bad it could have been
still sat here in tears trying to come to terms with everything,
once again many thanks for your kind words i relly feel moved that so many have offered help and support <-- real ones
so im going to be sat on my arse for the next few weeks going to drive me up the wall
if anyone wants to pop down im sure i can make a cup of tea or open a beer for you
once again many thanks for your kind words
