Over the moon with it mate, it really is a fantastic bit of kit

I believe that with the PRO version of the software you can even use it to write maps for a normal ECU too, so potentially i could use it to live map other cars which have an L8, which i didnt even realise until today, so i might enquire about the cost of upgrading my software to the PRO version as that would mean that i could whack L8's on a couple of my other cars and remap them too

Sweet. what about the fact that there are only 8 sites you can map too instead of 16 with SECS ecu. Does it make much difference?

Pro version sounds

Luckily the restriction to 8 sites is only on the ignition side, where (IMHO) its less critical relly (although obviously having 16 i would certainly prefer still, more the merrier IMHO).

It just means that you have to be careful with where you set the boundaries mainly though.

Even the injection side thats true though, ive actually still go to revise them on mine in fact, im actually going to go back and remove one of the high end sites and put a little more resolution in at vacuum as currently ive found my initial choice of sites doesnt quite suit my engine.

Is this that software covered in the latest Fast Ford and Performance Ford?

am I also right in thinking it's not a new ECU just software to map L8s?

Its NOT just software, you have to get some physical changes made to the ECU in order to make it accept the software talking to it.

But yes the mapping software was in performance ford and the logging software was in fast ford.

Screens shots above are from a bit of both, as the version i have is intergrated and has both of them in it.
